Is this possible?

I’m just curious, is it possible for one to train/workout in a way to gain muscle in their upperbody whilst loosing size in their lower body? and can this be achieved simultaneously?

I understand you can’t control where you loose fat from, but I’m sure there is a way to control muscle growth?

Personally what I’ve noticed is that if I pick up running, my legs get slimmer but then so does my upperbody (which I like to be “bigger”). This happened with boxing too... Dw I’m not stressing it’s just been on my mind. (Gosh I’m excited to take my exercise science paper @ uni 😅)
