Progress photos - and the importance of patience!

Hello!

Lots of you know how important it is to listen to your body and be patient with it. Well, after my emergency C-section I took photos of myself at week 4 (I was told my uterus had shrunk back at this point). As some of you know, I started a 12 week rehabilitation programme that focused 100% on mind body connection after birth (the first 3 weeks are practically just breathing) and then builds up form again in order to do workouts safely.

It took me 14 weeks to complete it.

Then I did the 2 week FB Plus Strong challenge. And now, after 2 much needed rest days, I'm doing the 2 week FB Plus Burn challenge.

The difference between these photos in weight is only 3.5lbs. the difference in strength and self belief is HUGE. And I'm so glad I took photos today because I wouldn't have thought it. I have a long way to go before I can fit back into my clothes again, but I know I'm on my way!
