DOMS of Doom!

I did a lower body workout on Monday and I don’t think I’ve been this sore in years! I think it was a combination of lifting heavier than usual, pushing through exhaustion a little more than I should have, and not drinking enough water. I’m walking funny, can barely go up and down stairs and my thighs and hamstrings are very sore to the touch. I’m often a little sore after an intense workout but this is the first time it’s affected my everyday movements in a long time. I’m trying to stretch as best as I can and give them a chance to heal up before jumping back into it. Some lessons learned!
