Advice regarding arm strength

I have been working out for years. I have been with FB I think it is 4 years give or take.

My issue is planks, downward dogs, push-ups, mountain climbers etc. In other words anything where I have to hold myself up with straight arms. I can only hold it about 10 or 20 seconds. I am trying to extend that time and not shy away from these exercises. Forget about holding a plank and doing shoulder slaps !! (I am working on improving my core strength too which might have something to do with it.)

Any advice on how to improve my arm strength would be helpful. Thanks.
