Heart rate indication of health

Evening all, I hope you’re all well.

So, don’t get me wrong, I’m no elite athlete but I work out 5 days a week and believe I’m strong and fit. I have been working out like this a long time and I have good endurance and can complete hiit and strength sessions. My resting heart-rate is about 78-80....am I not as fit is I thought? I guess I was kind of expecting it to be a bit lower but I’m not sure if other factors are involved. Any thoughts much appreciated.
