Quick changes to very slllooooowwww changes

Hi there all,

Hope you’re well.

I’ve tried to look for the answer to this online but I’m not finding what I’m looking for so wondered if any of you lovely lot might know....

How and why do the physical changes from exercising slow the more/longer you do it and the fitter and healthier you become?

We’ve all seen the posts of people finishing their first and second amazing FB programme and having great physical results; losing inches, toning up, better endurance, heavier lifting etc.....why by programme 5,6,7 etc and consistent and committed workouts (continually pushing yourself) are those changes so much smaller? Does the body just hold on to those last bits of fat more stubbornly? Is it a plateau or is it just a case of keep on keeping on and accepting the changes are smaller and fewer?
