Workout recommendations for Intermittent Fasting

Hi friends!

I have been doing 16:8 IF for a few weeks and it's working well. Sometimes my afternoons are crazily packed so I'm trying to figure out what kind of workout is suitable during the fasting period. I read online that I shouldn't be lifting or doing hard-core muscle training as it could reduce my muscles, is that true? With that said, can I do HIIT during fasting period or is light cardio recommended? Thank you!
