When health makes you take a step back

Hi everyone,

Even tough I am working out here since 2016, I rarely post. I guess I am too shy. 🙈

However, now I could use some support: I have been working out constantly for a while now, even started seeing progress.

At the beginning of October I was diagnosed with a UTI, got prescribed antibiotics and got on with my life and workouts.

However, it seems that the infection did not pass and it got worse. The doctors are not even sure what it is at this point, or if it even is an infection or something else. I am supposed to get some lab results next week and take it from there. Now the pain got to the point where I can barely move, let alone workout 😥

I am aware that my health should be prio 1, but it’s hard for me to accept that I need to slow down and risk losing the progress I made.

Did anyone struggle with this before? How did you overcome it?
