So I purchased my dumbbells online but took the option pick-up in store. Why? Because why not! I wanted to challenge myself and thought that I've been working out regulary for 6 months now.
Once I put the dumbbells in my back pack and headed back to the métro station to go home, well... I almost regretted my decision on pick-up in store option. For those of you who might have been in Paris, you know that most of Parisian métro stations have stairs. A lot of stairs! I struggled quite a lot to walk down the stairs with 10 kg on my back. I walked really slowly to keep my balance. Yes, walk down the stairs, thankfully... Otherwise, it would have been really really hard. Once seated, I was relieved. What did I do next? Seated Calf Raise with those 10 kg on my knees which was not as hard as I imagine. Last thing: 300 meters to go, from my station to my flat, with upslope on the last 50 meters.
Never again!
Then I suddenly remember Lynna's post on her 14 kg Max in her arms. Wow!
I'm okay with 10 kg for now.
2 x 5 kg dumbbells in my back pack
