Calories Burned + Apple Watch Questions

Hi everyone,

Just curious (although at the end of the day it doesn't really matter):

1) What type of workout do you use on Apple Watch for a dumbbell/strength workout? Functional Strength Training?

2) For the calories burned listed under the progress bar, does the number indicate how many calories they estimate you've burned at that point in the workout or do they just take the total amount of calories burned for the entire workout and evenly distribute it throughout the workout?

3) Are the estimates for calories burned for workouts using dumbbells based on the weights Daniel/Kelli are using in that particular video? Or the weights an average person might use?

I've read through their FAQ document on calories and can't see to find these answers.

At the end of the day, the number of calories burned doesn't truly matter but I'd just like to get a ballpark figure, knowing the number is prone of some error.

Thank you!!

Stephanie
