Post-menopausal weight loss - Advice?

Hi all,

I'm in a bit of workout funk, so adjusted by walking daily the past two weeks, enjoying the nice weather. Getting ready to shift back to working out.

However, I'm still struggling with losing weight. I've lost weight and kept it off in the past, and want to take another step forward for my health. However, I've stalled out after 8 pounds. It is likely menopause related and I would like to hear about other's experiences.

A quick review of the science seems to indicate the following:

1. 175 minutes of physical activity weekly (moderate to high intensity)

2. severe (65-70% less calories) vs. moderate (25-35%) restriction lost twice as much weight over 12 months, but with increased bone loss

3. HIIT three times weekly - can also change body composition w/o weight loss

4. 150 minutes of moderate physical activity weekly plus the Diabetes Prevention Plan diet

So - I have the data, would love to hear about others experiences.
