Waning Energy

First of all, I would like to share this short TED lecture by Wendy Suzuki, a neuroscientist, about the effects of physical activity on the brain.

I have a little problem, though. Lately I've noticed that something seems to be draining my energy. It might be a little spring fatigue caused by vitamin deficiency because even though I eat fruit and vegetables every day, it's the end of winter and I can't really lay my hands on vegetables or fruit with actual nutritional value.

I work out 5 days a week and nowadays I get tired a lot sooner than earlier and my muscles are sore for longer than they normally are.

I'm thinking of reducing the number of days I work out from 5 to 4 for a while. Or I'll reduce the length of the workout. I don't know. What would you suggest? Has it ever happened to you?
