Ugh, today was hot. I took the little ferry to the island across the river. I walked a big part of the almost 15k through typical West-Netherlands landscape: polder. Which means: no shade and long boring roads.. Luckily there were also some nice pieces. Farmers get subsidised for planting flowers along the edges of their fields for the bees, so that was pretty. The first bit was also nice. It went over the dike, I walked amongst the sheep (and their poop).
