Confused about which weights to buy

Hey FB fam,

For some background, I'm a 22 year old F with a classic pear shaped body. I'm looking to strength train my legs and was wondering about which weights to buy. I already own a pair of 3 kg dumbbells. Should I go for 5 kg dumbbells or a pair of 2 kg adjustable ankle weights?

P.S:Saddlebags are a major problem area for me.
