Making the most of 8-pound dumbbells?

Hi! Looking for some advice. I've been doing the FitnessBlender programs since June. I enjoy the strength-building workouts, but I only have two 8-pound dumbbells, and with the shortage of home exercise equipment, I haven't been able to find heavier ones in stock. Any tips on how to make the most of them so I can keep making progress?

I read somewhere that using resistance bands along with dumbbells can help make workouts harder. I've also heard that doing more reps or faster reps can also help. If anyone has had success with those approaches or has another idea, please let me know! Thanks!
