Broccoli for breakfast... yes or no?

So today I was hungry post workout and decided on avocado on rye toast with poached egg. But then I saw I had some leftover broccoli from last night and thought, why not? throw that in topped with some chilli sauce. Yum.

But that got me thinking, in my country I think many people would consider tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers and such as 'suitable' for breakfast. Whereas things like carrots (unless in a juice?) broccoli, cauli etc are 'not right'!!?

Totally random musing but it did get me thinking, am I a broccoli breakfast weirdo?! or are all veggies cool whenever!
