A couple of times recently I've noticed discussions I've posted in have been deleted and I'm not sure why. In fact it probably happens more often than I realise since I don't usually go back to check my posts are still there, but occasionally I do if I'm concerned about someone or want to know the outcome of their question. I understand when it's a controversial topic that the whole thread was most likely automatically deleted, but that's not what I'm talking about; this is just normal FB stuff as far as I can tell.

This makes me wonder why. I'd really appreciate even an automated notice telling me the basis for deletion (eg whether a user deleted their own post, or my post was reported, or someone else's was...). That way I'd know if the OP just changed their mind, or if I said something wrong which I could then stop doing in future,

I know the boards aren't closely moderated, but I think this should still be possible within a hands-off system.
