Competitiveness & feeling a failure

Hello everyone,

I feel a bit daft posting this, but perhaps someone can cheer me up a bit.

My husband and I both work out six days a week, but he’s a Les Mills type (Body Attack, Combat, Pump and the odd Grit, for those who’re familiar) while I tend to use FitnessBlender devotedly.

Objectively, I know I push myself hard - lots of tough HIIT, strength training - but I never feel that I’m doing enough to “keep up”. Whenever he talks about his workouts, I immediately write mine off as not hard enough, even if I know I was half-dead by the end of it. I did a 1000-calorie workout today but I still feel deflated.

Any thoughts on how to get out of this mindset? I should add that he doesn’t in any way disparage what I do; this seems to be something that’s in my head.
