Running/jogging

Any runners and joggers out there? I want to start but need some advice as I'm worried about starting as once my knee gave way and I had a pretty nasty fall. I will obviously take it easy to begin with and lightly jog.

Can someone please tell me good warm ups to do before running? I'm worried about my knee giving way again (it probably won't but the fear is there now since my fall years ago)
