🏋️ Strength Training Vs Toning 🏃‍♀️ Question

I love to exercise -- I've been part of the FB family for over 6 years. In fact, FitnessBlender was where I learned about strength training, especially for women, and I fell in love.

I've thankfully had a lot more time recently, so I've been able to really exercise how I want. However, after about 5 weeks of really going at it, I am wondering if I need to change my routine.

My problem is, I feel like I am bulking up too much. I like my muscles, don't get me wrong, but I know size comes along with it -- Mostly by way of added fluid since I do strength train pretty often. I'm wondering if I need to switch to more cardio and toning videos. My other problem area is my tummy (I'm a 32 yr old mom of two), and while I do add in abs workouts, I feel like doing more toning could help narrow my tummy down more.

Here is what I do now:

I walk or jog 2 miles every morning (moreso walk than jog)

Then I do a workout video afterwards or in the afternoon.

Typically workout videos consist of strength training the lower body about 2-3x a week, doing upper body strength training 2-3x a week and adding in an abs video 2-3x a week (usually pilates type).

The videos each day typically take me 40 min total.

I do eat pretty darn clean, but not overboard. Very low carbs -- Mostly complex carbs, very low sugar. I do have one treat each day ;)
