Pushing yourself hard enough?


Hey fb community!

I've been recently worrying when working out about how hard I'm pushing myself. Every workout, it seems like I'm letting myself down by not stretching my limits. At the same time, it's difficult for me to push myself (I'm lazy :)) and the dread of doing it sometimes makes me less likely to workout. I know I'm not pushing myself because I'm generally not sore or exhausted after workouts, and then I just get disappointed in myself. But for some reason I just can't get myself to push myself any further and subsequently I feel worse. Does this make sense, does this happen to anyone else? How does anyone else know if they've pushed hard enough? It'd be great to have some advice.
