...there's a new lower body favorite in town! I have loved this (https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/build-a-booty-workout-strength-and-pilates-workout-for-butt-and-thighs ) "build-a-booty" routine since first encountering it in Abs 2 in February. I still love it for when I'm at the gym and have access to heavier weights than I do at home.
However, this workout - https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/squats-and-deadlifts-workout-at-home-lower-body-workout - was on the menu today for Day 17 of Sweat, and as far as interval-based LB routines go, it is far and away my new favorite.
I did swap out the toes in/toes out deadlifts (my knees feel weird when doing them) for hip thrusts and single-leg curtsy lunges, but other than that, I kept everything the same. I had sweat dripping from my nose, ears and even getting into my eyes. It was all I could do to keep my eyes open and glasses on during the extra credit routine 😂 Highly, highly recommended, especially if you don't have adjustable dumbbells yet and you need a challenge for your legs.
