They’re definitely not for everyone, and you really need to be careful when doing kettlebell routines (particularly if you have back issues or limited core strength), but if you’re looking to challenge yourself and diversity your training styles, a great kettlebell workout may do the trick.
Traditional strength training, with its methodical and controlled movements, is great for evenly building strength and muscle, but throwing in some training with kettlebells is an amazing outlet for explosive movements that utilize momentum and build both strength and cardio endurance.
Form is still very, very important when using kettlebells, so make sure you are using weights that challenge you, but that you can control.
