Hands Hurt after Strength Training

Hi FB Fam! I hoped someone might be able to relate to/offer advice. I've been able to up my exercise consistency over the past few months (doing FB Strong, FBSweat and FB30r3), and I've seen some exciting progress in how much weight I'm able to lift! However, now that I'm strength training more consistently, I notice my hands are always sore and achy, particularly at the base of my thumbs. Has this happened to any of you? Any advice on how to avoid this hand soreness? Or how to maintain the muscle I've gained while giving my achy hands a break from the PowerBlocks? Really falling in love with how strength training makes me feel otherwise ...
