Motivation for Bodyweight Strength Training

Hi all!

First of all, can I just say how much I love the FBFamily. This platform is honestly so supportive and kind, which is so encouraging especially because the fitness industry can be pretty vicious and intimidating.

Also, I have been discouraged recently about my strength training progress. So far I am only able to use my bodyweight, because I really can't afford to buy weights, and I can't find a reasonable substitute for heavy weights. I live in Germany...where there are not gallon sized milk jugs or water bottles (everything is so much smaller here haha), so I feel really limited. I'm frustrated because I feel like I'm not getting what I could out of the workouts, or getting the results in my body that I want. For sure I have seen my arms tone up some using bodyweight, but I also would like to increase my strength.

Does anybody have tips or ideas on how to maximize bodyweight strength training, or have new ideas for substituting dumbbells?? Like I guess I could use a watermelon but that doesn't work for bicep curls...
