Functional Fitness/Everyday Improvements

What are some everyday tasks or little things that have gotten easier for you since you began exercising regularly?

I have noticed so many small things in my everyday life but the place I notice the most change is unloading groceries!

I used to have a lot of weakness in my arms and upper body and couldn’t lift many bags or heavy objects. I definitely couldn’t carry a case of Perrier (sparkling water) in one hand, and couldn’t carry it for long with two. Today without even thinking about it I picked up a case of Perrier in each hand walked down a flight of stairs with them quite comfortably. It sounds silly, but I was so impressed with myself!

Sometimes it’s the small victories that really keep my motivation up! What are yours?
