Fitness tracker?

Hi guys, so I was thinking about getting a fitness tracker/ smart watch and I was wondering whether you think it's worth it or if any of you regretted buying one?

I am mostly curious about my heart rate, about how high it is, how high it gets during the workouts, how fast it recovers ecc.

And can any of you recommend one, especially ones that work well with Samsung phones?
