Injury frustration

Hi everyone

I’m a person who genuinely loves exercising. I’ve been working out with fitness blender for quite a few years now, and the workouts are something I look forward to every day.

Recently, an old ankle sports injury which I thought I’d gotten rid of acted up (sorry- I don’t want to get too detailed), and doctor’s orders mean I can’t do any intense workouts for the next while. HIIT is definitely off the table. I also had to give up running, which is another thing I love to do.

I know that I need to take it easy and do what I can, but it honestly feels so crashing to have to dial back the intensity of my workouts that much.

I’m wondering if any of you who might have gone through something similar have any advice for dealing with the frustration this causes? Any motivation strategies I can use?
