Any experience using fat caliper to measure body fat?

Does anyone have experience using fat caliper to measure body fat? example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cx7pHJomSTc

How effective is it? I'm considering to get one. I know fitness can be measured with PFT and other non-scale stuff, but I'd like to experiment with a measurement metric. It's also small & affordable.

I'm currently built like (the female version of) the guy in this video (the "before" photo, that is): https://youtu.be/S5EXgV-sSkk?t=24 and my main goal is to improve my body composition (not to lose weight).

I'm not interested in tracking weight for the simple reason MY WEIGHT NEVER CHANGES no matter what 😂. Over the years I found that I weigh the same whether I live like a slob & eat all the junk & drink every night & get all bloated OR eat cleaner, only drink on weekends, do light workouts & get leaner. It's just the fat : muscle composition that changes.
