Healthy food doesn't have to be boring!

Hello FB family. Hope you're all having a good week! Just wanted to share a little bit of inspiration on nutrition and recipe ideas. Healthy food doesn't have to be boring!

This is our weekly restock/top up for food. There is lots of variety protein, fruits, veges Nut mix, Berries, wholemeal pasta & other healthy carbs. We get so excited thinking about all the dishes that we're going to cook. Wholemeal spaghetti or pasta is so delicious and great to work with. Simply add stirfry veges (We buy the veges that are already cut like superfood veges or stirfry veges for easy prep) and a side of protein we mostly have tuna or chicken breast. Once or twice we will have other protein like lamb.

Though we hardly need to stock up on meat because we don't eat it that often so we have plenty of supply in the freezer. Also for protein we have Heritage Mill roasted nut protein bars. They are a great snack and we love the amount of protein they have and they are also low in sugar with a healthy balance of fat and carbs. We find these keep us full inbetween meal and satisfied when we are peckish.

Also after heavy lifting workouts we have Musashi Whey protein before we eat our meal. If you ever get that feeling of being hungry even after eating get in enough protein to curb that hunger it works!!!

If you've had adequate protein already, look at what you have already eaten to see which micronutrient you're missing. We don't eat sugar so at times if we dont feel right even after eating well in the day we always have a fruit and immediately feel better.

Finally lots of seasoning we use spices in almost every dish! It makes the food smell delicious and so yum you cant help but drool 🤭🤤🤤. Paprika, coriander, cumin, ginger, garlic, pepper, rosemary and parsely are our go to.

We love this part of our health journey where we now know what works for us. We enjoying sharing what we have learnt and we hope you find it useful. Have a fantastic week. 😃❤❤
