New Workout - Pilates Flow

Good Morning FB Family, how is everyone?

We've got a new workout for you this morning:

Pilates Flow - Lower Body Pilates Workout

You won't need any equipment at all for this mat Pilates workout. Put on some comfortable clothes (we wont judge you if it's pajamas 😝) and jump in! This kind of workout is approachable for beginners, but full of exercises that are important for every fitness level imaginable.

In this Pilates workout we will be performing a range of exercises that require you to not only be able to control your legs and how they are moving but also require you to control your pelvic floor, core, diaphragm, intercostal muscles, and many more supporting muscle groups. This is great for building foundational control and strength that will improve your ability to effectively do a multitude of other activities from more challenging workouts, to everyday life activities.

We start off with a nice little stress relieving check in, just taking a second to focus on nothing but our own breathing. It's a nice little trick that can help you find a bit of calm, at any point in your day.

Do you have an idea of the things you might keep yourself busy with next week? Any projects or workouts planned? Books to read, movies to watch? I wonder how many of you are homeschooling kids or working from home for the first time right now?

There are so many big life changes happening, so many things outside of our control. Do the best you can to find joy in the small things. Take good care of yourself and the people around you - we all need a little extra kindness right now.
