Daily Check-in: Fitness Friday, April 17th #StayConnected Challenge WEEK 2, DAY FIVE!

Greetings there, FBFam. How are you on this morning/afternoon/evening of your Friday? Looking forward to the weekend perhaps? Well, one thing you can look forward to this weekend are our Lea's ghost check-ins! And maybe also look forward to breaking the ribbon (is that a saying? I think I'm just saying stuff) as you cross that #StayConnected challenge finish line. Because today is your last hard working day! That's right, day 5 of week two is coming at you with some upper body work and a lengthy extra credit (if you so choose) for those abs! Let's have a look!

33 minute upper body strength: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/at-home-upper-body-strength-workout-for-arms-shoulders-chest-and-back

Extra credit 22 minute abs & obliques: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/flat-belly-workout-abs-and-obliques-workout

So after this workout, you are more or less done with the challenge! Minus the optional recovery for tomorrow.. And if you want, feel free to celebrate and shout it out that you completed two weeks worth of workouts, doing it your way! And that's awesome! ..I'll be making a challenge complete post later after my workout this morning, but if someone wants to do it before me, go right ahead and get to happy dancing and celebrating! I see Michele has already got there! https://www.fitnessblender.com/community/discussion/18683/stay-connected-challange-bingo-it-s-done

As for your Fitness Friday, to go with the theme of being Strong, and in recent uncertain times when we have to be stronger, what has kept you strong lately? What are you doing or have proved to yourself that you are mentally, physically and quite literally, strong? ..I'm going to go with a bit of a litteral answer. Yesterday, we were doing a little chainsawing/yardwork and I was holding my own, rolling and pulling a massive fallen log, throwing aroud heavy logs, wheeling a wheelbarrow full of logs. Lots of loggy stuff. I actually felt a little like Lea and even had the idea to chanel some Lea power as I worked! It was tiring work, but boy did I feel strong. And tired, lol. Definitely tired. But that strength is a serious mood booster. Proof hard work pays off.

But tell me, Blenders, what is your proof of strength? How are you being and staying strong, whether inspired by example, or leading by example? I look foward to what you always have to say!

And right quick, how are we eating and drinking today, Blenders? I'm totally on the side of pizza today, but how are you going about this eating thing today? I know food needs more than this short bit, but I'm keeping this paragraph bite sized!

Okay everyone, I think I pretty much covered all things check-in. I hope your day is as sweet as this Candy Root that I got to see on a walk yesterday. Supposedly, the roots of this plant can be chewed (think like gum, so not ingested) and taste, well, sweet. I haven't tried that out myself so the jury is out on that. All I know is that they are pretty sweet as far as how they look.

Anyway, once again and as always thank you so much for reading and checking in! I'll see you guys later, but for now, be well, stay safe!
