Lockdown bbq and listening to my body

It’s been 8 days since I injured my back and it’s feeling pretty much back to normal. This morning I scheduled the new FB Plus upper body strength workout. I started it this morning but when doing the bent over rows I felt it in my lower back way too much so I listened to my body and stopped. Such a shame but it’s more important that I heal properly. I’d hate to make it worse as it’s getting better. I changed to one of the recovery workouts for some light cardio and did Daniel’s lower back stretching afterwards instead.

I did some of my university work this morning then as it was so nice decided to sit in the garden this afternoon in the sun. For tea we had a bbq which was delicious. We had these lamb kebabs and chicken legs, then I made some flatbreads and a lentil salad!

Here’s the recipe for the salad. It was my first time making it and it was delicious, I’d definitely recommend it! It would be great all on it’s own!
