I don't know how good an idea this is, especially as initially, I was against it. But hubby and I 'isolated' ourselves from family and friends for the past two weeks in case I end up choosing to do exactly 'this', so we can be sure I am healthy and without direct contact with COVID.
Long story short, I went back to my ex-job. Quite honestly, my region is doing fine at the moment. We don't have that many patients with COVID, and the health system is taking care that every unit possible has enough spare beds.
Being at home doing nothing, when I can help doing what I do best, was no longer the option for me. Anyhow, I took the contract only for a month and if the situation will require, I'll do one more after. By that time, I hope we will be back to normal - whatever normal will be at that point.
