I'm trilled by all of the wonderful, supportive, positive posts over the past few days (and weeks) as we all try to grapple with the evolving COVID-19 issue.
Anyway, I figured I'd jump into the fray with some thoughts about working from home (which I never anticipated, but have been doing for nearly 2 years now).
Sorry, this list is just positive stuff. ;)
Things I do now that I basically never did when I was working in an office setting:
- Eat a leisurely, healthy breakfast with my wife...every, single morning.
- Take time out to meditate during the workday, often more than once.
- Exercise during working hours.
- Spend more time outdoors, even if it’s only 5 minutes here or 10 minutes there.
- Pet my dogs often. Very often. I mean, look at that pic...how can you not want to just snuggle with them all day long?
What has your experience been so far? How many of you are working from home? How long have you been doing it? Any tips and tricks to share?
