Plant based vs Carnivore Diet

I NEVER do New Years Resolutions, however 2020 I decided I would “try” to work myself away from a meat protein based diet to pescatarian based diet. So far, I’d say I’m at about 70% completion ratio.

Question for anybody reading this, I’d welcome thoughts, insights, etc to anyone who has transitioned from what I’m doing and, “geez gads!” to just plant based?

If so, please let me know if there is a good book I could start with, ie, “Plant Based 101;” something that basic, seriously 🥴. I’m really trying, but somehow it’s overwhelming upending a diet I’ve been eating my entire life because that’s what my parents fed me (God love them). I’m unsure what plants are good for protein, etc. It really is too much information blasted at once when I start researching. I’m yearning for the most basic building blocks to “push me” on my vegan way.

Thank you?!
