Best time of day to workout

I've never really thought about how the time of day can affect my workout but oh my did I learn a lesson today!

I always workout in the evenings but today it was either a morning workout or nothing.

I know I dont work out as well in the mornings but I forgot just how bad it was! 😂😭 I had to significantly lower my weights and take longer breaks not only in between sets but during them as well.

When I finally finished the workout my muscles didnt even seem that worked out compared to usual where they are basically crying by the end. But I had absolutely nothing left to give, I was completely exhausted. Done.

So it just got me thinking about what everyone else's experiences were with workout timings. Is there a certain time that your body performs better at or can you workout whenever ?

I feel good that I did actually do something but I think next time if I have to do a morning workout it will definitely be something a lot easier! 😂
