Soooooore (but all good!)

Random rambling in my fitness journey...

Yesterday I did the "Low Impact Cardio Workout for Beginners - Recovery Cardio Workout with no Jumping": https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/low-impact-cardio-workout-for-beginners-recovery-cardio-workout-with-no-jumping

And this morning I did the 10-minute "Total Body Cardio Workout to Burn Fat and Boost Energy": https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/total-body-cardio-workout-to-burn-fat-and-boost-energy (plus some 8 mins of cool down)

I only made two types of modification:

1) I repeated the squats and lunges portion twice (by pausing and rewinding the video), the second time with weights, so I've got *a tiny bit* more strength training.

2) My goal this year is to be able to do push-ups (I could only do one push-ups, and just barely!). So I replaced the push-up portion in today and yesterday's workout with 2 x 15 incline push-ups. The surface height is on my waist level, so super-beginner level.

As you can see, I definitely did not overtrain (quite the opposite perhaps). But somehow I still "managed" to feel so sore this evening in my triceps and whats-their-names (the sides right under the arms + left and right sides of my upper back) I could barely lift my arms. Oh well, I've always been helpless at sports all my life and I guess I have to live with it. 😅

But at least I hope I'd trained my muscles optimally so I could achieve my push-up goals someday!
