Can't do push ups

I'm in my early 20's and never saw myself as a 'sporty' type growing up. Apparently I just LOVE strenght training and I have been doing it now frequently for a few months.

One thing I just really suck at and not seem to be able to do is push ups. I do 5-7 and I just can't no more.

Other arm excercises go really well though.

Why could I be struggling so much with push ups...
