Week 3/8 check in

This week was a little wonky. My husband was home sick for most of the week and I slept on the couch to avoid catching whatever it is he had. Sleeping on the couch left me never feeling truly rested. During the day my energy was low and my back was bothering me. Aside from walking, I took Wed-Fri off from workouts. I put my focus on what it felt like I needed: rest. So far I've managed to avoid getting sick.

Back at it today, though! 15 more days until my first 5K race of the year. I find that having these 5Ks scheduled once a month keeps me motivated to get my workouts done. Onward and upward : )
