Weight Loss

I'm getting really frustrated. I know I shouldn't be focused on my weight so much, but I'm 40 pounds overweight still. I've been doing a variety on workouts 4 to 5 times a week, tracking calories, only eating junk occasionally, drinking alcohol like once every week or two. I've been working out for about a month and a half and I've GAINED five pounds. I'm definitely more muscular, but I'm not at a healthy weight for my height. Currently 207 lbs and 5 foot 7. I think 170 would be a good weight for me since I'm naturally curvy. Will the weight loss eventually come? I don't want to be doing all the work and still be over 200 pounds. My goal was to be losing one or two pounds a week. Nothing drastic. Please give advice/encouragement.
