Strenght or Free style workouts/Pilates?

Hey guys, i hope everyone is doing fine!

The last 4 months i have limited my strenght training since i find lifting very draining and i'm doing more walking, dancing and pilates. Everyone keeps telling me it's not good and i should get back to weights but i don't feel like it anymore, i know it will be trouble building muscle but i don't think weights it's the only answer.

What do you think guys, are you currently experiencing smt like this?

Also i wanted to add, since it's exam period for me, i can't do much and i feel so bloated, my jeans were tight as hell and i have been eating the same...
