I’ve never had a FT before.... today I “had” 11, I guess!!!
Nature conservation day.... YAY! Straight back into our normal routine. The post holiday wash could wait!
Pine pulling today, so pulling, lopping and sawing for several hours. This area seemed to have quite a few larger specimens, so I did a lot of sawing. My calendar shows an upper body workout, but that certainly can wait. A stretch or nothing for me today.
But today was special in a totally different way: in spite of our blazing fire, a herd of 11 cows came to check out our work!!! I guess that would be my FTs, right 🤪! They came and “inspected” our work, sniffed at our lunch area and came over to our fire. We actually had to shoo them away. I guess they associate the ranger’s van with food!
