Friday Motivation!

You can make huge changes in your fitness level (and appearance) that won’t be reflected on a scale.

Having goals is important, of course, but we also need to remember that our goals need to be realistic and personal. We are all different. Our bodies respond differently to different things, and our perception and relationship with our bodies, exercise, and food are complex.

At the most basic level, if we approach fitness and goal-setting with a sense of moderation, always with an eye on doing better today than we did yesterday, it's a much healthier, functional, sustainable, and likely more successful pathway to actually implementing and keeping healthy changes.

The number on a scale, for example, is not who we are. It should go without saying, but your bodyweight is no reflection of who you are—your strength, your intelligence, your kindness, your beauty, or your worth. For those of you who have worked out with Fitness Blender for some time, you know that our focus is on eating for good health, and exercising for strength and energy.

How many of you have noticed real functional fitness (and/or appearance) changes that are not necessarily reflected on the scale?
