Too much hunger?

Earlier this week, I had an issue with getting an appetite. But today, I'm having a HUGE appetite. I'm resisting (somewhat) but I keep wanting to eat. And it's a rest day, so I feel like I should be more careful with my calorie intake. I'm eating the same foods as usual throughout the week but for some reason, I'm just starving today.

What do you do in this situation? I can control myself from not eating, but when I do, I can't concentrate on anything else productive I have to do because my brain keeps telling me that I'm hungry. Should I listen to my body and eat a little more?

Also- what are your go-to recipes to fill your appetite? Apparently my usual recipes aren't working.
