Pilates and upper body

I did one Pilates workout a week in conjunction with the rest being HIIT and strength training. Now I'm pretty sure I've got a stress fracture in my foot. So I'm hoping to do at least Pilates or yoga in place of my HIIT and strength training for a while and see if things get better.

My question is do you need to include upper body strength with Pilates or is Pilates typically enough on it's own to keep your arms toned? I realize I'm going to loose lower body strength but I'm torn about how to handle my upper body.
