So I have been having this traditional Costa Rican breakfast for breakfast almost every morning; it is my crazy new obsession and is the perfect combination of carbs, protein, and fat! I have been getting up to workout at the gym at 5:30 in the morning and this breakfast is awesome after a brutal lifting and hiit session! Sauteed rice and beans with onion, oil, pepper, and cilantro with fried or scrambled egg, accompanied with a swirl of Natilla (sour cream) and cheese, and I like to add an avocado and accompany with a plate of fruit and the obligatory coffee with milk!

Sooooo gooood!

I've also been starting getting into fruit bowls like acai bowls.....my oh my, I can't wat to return to the states and make my own bowls!!!!
