Lower body workouts : question and suggestion

I love working on my lower body. Both strength and cardio. But my question is that isn't it potentially dangerous to mix cardio with strength in a single workout. Specially if lifting heavy. Then there are higher chances of knee injury during the high impact movements .

And a suggestion from my side. I feel bridges and glute thrusters are a little under represented in fb's lower body workouts. When the fact is that they are good for the glutes and safe on the knees . Would love to see more of them
