FB+ Switching billing plans

Hi! I am loving FB+ but I am having a small issue with billing. I want to switch from monthly billing to yearly while the cyber Monday deal is still in effect, but so far as I can tell you need to cancel first, then re-enroll. I tried that, but I still was not given an option to go yearly: it just went back to monthly when I clicked re-enroll after I cancelled. Do I have to wait another month for a completely new billing cycle? I prefer not to do that, (fomo and all!) What happens to the independent workouts added to my calendar in the interim if I have to? Thanks!
