Lower back soreness & deadlifts

I consistently have lower back tightness/soreness. After doing a pretty intense lower body strength workout yesterday, I was trying to evaluate why that soreness intensified. Through consistent exercise with FB over the years I feel like I have really strengthened my core and has helped my back tremendously. But I was thinking about the exercises in my routine yesterday and wondering if deadlifts are hurting me. Does anyone else experience this? I am always careful and checking my form, doing my best to use my glutes and not back, but wondering if this particular exercise is actually causing more pain. I’d appreciate anyone else’s thoughts on this!
